Latest information DEmon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3
Ufotable Studio didn’t wait long. Towards the end of season 2, he surprised us with two trailers announcing season 3. Its release date is scheduled for this April 9, 2023. As part of the promotion for the next season, the movie Demon Slayer: Road to the Blacksmith Village will be available in theaters. The film includes episodes 10 and 11 of season 2 as well as the first episode of season 3. Previews will take place on February 25, 2023 in 80 countries, including France.

A reminder of the events of Demon Slayer: Pleasure District
In Season 2, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke follow the Pillar of Sound Tenzen Uzui on a dangerous mission. In fact, Stambha sent her women to investigate for him in Anand district. According to him, the neighborhood was vampirized by a demonic moon. Unfortunately, his three wives no longer send him their reports.
Worried, Pillar and our young assassins will intervene. Not only will they find them, but the demonic moon will take out Gyutaro and his sister Daki. After a fierce fight, the assassins will finally arrive. If this victory heralds a glimmer of hope in the Slayers’ fight against Muzan, for the demons it sounds the death knell for demon supremacy. Season 3 will tackle the Blacksmith Village arc. This special and secret village is where blacksmiths live and work. These mysterious characters who wear jester masks are an important element in the war against Muzan Kibutsuji. This pressure will bring them out of their laps, and into the heart of the conflict. Apart from them, we will have the opportunity to discover new pillars. After Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui, it’s Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito’s turn to highlight.
How many episodes for season 3 of demon slayer?
The Blacksmith Village story arc spans about 3 volumes of the manga. Season 3 is therefore limited to 11 episodes. Additionally, Season 3 begins with a one-hour special titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: On the Way to the Blacksmith Village. The first two seasons and the movie Le train de l’infini are available in French on Crunchyroll.

Which party is in charge?
After two seasons and a successful film, the sequel will be offered again at Ufotable Studios. Akira Matsushima will handle character design and Haruo Sotozaki will direct season 3.

Characters and seiyu
The characters of Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma will count their normal seiyuu returns. They are Natsuki Hana, Akari Kito, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Hiro Shimono. As mentioned above, we got to discover new characters: Mitsuri Kanroji, the Pillar of Love, and Muchiro Tokito, the Pillar of Mist. These two characters will be played by artists Kana Hanazawa and Kengo Kawanishi.
The plot revolves around the Demon Slayer
Japan began its modern development during the Taisho period. Tanjiro Kamado is a young teenager who lives in a mountain village with his mother and four siblings. To survive, the Kamado family resort to selling coal which Tanjiro has been trading since his father’s death.
One morning Tanjiro goes to sell his charcoal, hoping to create a recipe to offer his family a festive meal. What he does not know is that this is the last time he will see them alive. In fact he came back to find that all his family members had been killed. Only Nezuko, his youngest, incredibly survived the massacre. As he sets out to find a doctor who can cure her, Tanjiro finds that his sister doesn’t recognize him. He even tries to kill her. Tanjiro realizes that he has become a demon, as he had heard but did not believe. Tanjiro appeals to the conscience of his sister who finally shows signs of humanity.
At this point, Giyu Tomioka, a demon slayer appears and tries to eliminate Nezuko. If Tanjiro’s pleas weren’t enough, Nezuko’s attitude to protect her brother will convince him. Tomioka would recommend Tanjiro and Nezuko to help her master Sakonji Urokodaki. From this moment on Tanjiro will have only one obsession: to exterminate all man-eating demons and find a cure to cure his sister.
