Demon Slayer fans feel cheated
Angry fans said they felt pressured to pay top dollar for two recap episodes and a small preview of the show’s next season.. One user even pointed out the use of intros and outros and felt it was an effort “Extend Time”. Many netizens wanted to advise others against watching the project to watch the movie, with one even calling it out of “disgusting scam and waste of time”.
Ufotable, the animation studio behind the series, has already done feature film projects for the franchise Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train. However, the promoters never promised that Road to Blacksmith Village would be an original film. Instead, the intention was always to recap the ending of the “Recovery Training” arc and announce the release of a third season of the series.
