- Netflix added 62 more episodes of A play at its podium on July 22.
- There are now 13 seasons of the long-running anime on Netflix.
- It doesn’t look like the streamer will be adding any new seasons of A play at his library in August.
A play recently surpassed 1,000 episodes, and Netflix is doing its best to get the entire anime onto its platform. Since May 2022, the streaming service has added three new seasons of A play to his library every month. And it added another batch of episodes on July 22 – although it looks like there won’t be another drop in August.
Netflix added 62 “One Piece” episodes on Friday, July 22
That’s right, Netflix added another 62 episodes of A play at his library on Friday, July 22. This brings the total of installments available on the platform to 325.
The most recent chapters cover the anime’s Enies Lobby, CP9, and Goodbye Going Merry arcs. This drop remains in line with Netflix’s recent schedule. Since May, the streamer has added three seasons of A play the 22nd of each month.
With its live action A play series currently in production, bringing anime to its library is a smart move on Netflix’s part. This gives fans the chance to catch up on Monkey D. Luffy’s story before the adaptation debuts. But how many seasons of A play are currently available on Netflix? The service needs to add a few more before it’s fully caught up.
How many “One Piece” seasons are there on Netflix?
After adding its latest batch of episodes, Netflix now has 13 seasons of A play available for streaming. Current Deals take fans through the Goodbye Going Merry arc. However, they don’t update them on the most recent chapters of the anime.
Here is the full list of seasons currently on the platform, along with the number of installments they include:
- East Blue (61 episodes)
- Entering the Grand Line (16 episodes)
- Enter Chopper on Winter Island (15 episodes)
- Alabasta (38 episodes)
- TV Original 1 (13 episodes) “Post-Alabasta Filler Arc”
- Sky Island: Skypeia (30 episodes)
- Sky Island: The Ballon d’Or (22 episodes)
- The Naval Fortress (11 episodes)
- The Foxy Pirate Crew (22 episodes)
- The “Water Seven” chapter (35 episodes)
- Enies Lobby (21 episodes)
- CP9 (22 episodes)
- Happy Goodbye (19 episodes)
At the time of this writing, A play is in the middle of its 20th season. Netflix is unlikely to air the current release until it is complete. Of course, it can still get closer to the Land of Wa Arc. Two more three-season drops could bring the first 19 seasons to the streaming service. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like subscribers will see more content next month.
New ‘One Piece’ Episodes Won’t Coming to Netflix in August
Although Netflix is catching up fast A play, it doesn’t look like the streamer will be dropping any more episodes in August 2022. He recently released his press release detailing what subscribers can expect next month. And looking at Decider’s recap of the August lineup, more seasons of the anime aren’t on the cards.
This could be because Netflix is almost caught up with the current release of the series. With its live action A play probably won’t arrive until 2023 or later, so may need to spread out those last few drops a bit. Luckily, there are still plenty of anime available to enjoy.
